Playing with a fixed partner
How two players ask to play together all night, what accepting means, and how it ends.
Asking
Open the ⋯ menu beside your name under Already checked in and tap Partner…, then pick the player. They see your request on the board, under Partner requests, and can Accept or Decline; you can Withdraw it until they do. The desk can also pair two players, or approve a request, for you.
What it means
Fixed partners are on the same team in every round for the rest of the night, and rest together. You play at the lower of your two grades: if you're a B1 and your partner is a B2, you play as a B2 tonight, so your partner doesn't meet stronger opponents. The board tells you both before you agree. Fairness is weighed for the two of you together.
How it ends
Tap Un-pair in the ⋯ menu, or ask the desk. The pairing also ends if either of you checks out, and it isn't restored by checking back in: ask again if you want it. Everything is forgotten at the end of the night.
