Asking to play down a grade

What asking to play one grade down for the night does, who answers, and how long it lasts.

What it is

A grade down means being matched one step below your grade for tonight only: a B2 plays as a C1, a B1 as a B2. Your grade itself doesn't change, and other clubs only ever see your grade. Use it when you'd rather take it easy, or play with friends a grade below you.

Asking

Open the ⋯ menu beside your name under Already checked in and tap Ask to play … tonight, which names the grade. The organiser answers from the desk; the menu shows you whether your request is waiting, was approved or was declined. You can withdraw it while it waits.

How long it lasts

The rest of tonight, from the next round drawn. It's gone at the end of the night, and it's cleared if the organiser changes your grade. A D2 is already on the lowest grade and has nowhere to go.
