How a grading result moves grades
Most wins goes up, three losses goes down, ties are settled on points, and the top and bottom grades stay put.
The standings
After three games to 15, each of the four has a count of games won and lost, and the points they scored across all three games, including the ones they lost.
Who moves
- The player with the most wins goes up one grade.
- Among players tied on the most wins, the one with the most points goes up. If the top is still tied on points, nobody goes up.
- Only a player who lost all three games goes down one grade.
- Everyone else was fairly matched: their grade stands.
The ends of the ladder
An A1 can't go up and a D2 can't go down. A move is one rung from the grade the player holds when the result is confirmed, and takes effect from the next round drawn. The desk keeps a record of each change.
