Running a grading
Setting a grading up, swapping seats before the first score, correcting scores, Confirm result against Abandon, and the freed court afterwards.
Setting one up
Gradings come with a paid plan. On any court card, flip the Social | Grading switch to Grading and pick a grade with four players free. Four are seated at random. The court and its four leave the rounds from the next round drawn; until then the grading rides under the court's current match.
Swapping seats
Until the first score is in, tap a seat and then another player on that grade — a free player, or a seat in another grading of the same grade — to swap them.
Scores
Players enter scores on the board; you can enter or correct them on the desk's card the same way: tick Won, pick the losers' points, and the pick saves. Edit opens a saved game. Each game counts as a game played for all four.
Confirm result or Abandon
With all three scores in, the card shows the standings and Confirm result: the grade moves are made, for keeps, and the four and their court rejoin the rounds from the next round drawn. Abandon ends the grading with no grade changes, and it doesn't count as the players' grading tonight. Either way the desk asks whether the court keeps Grading or returns to the Rounds.
The freed court
Until the next round locks, the court is free. If four players are idle — resting, or just off the grading — the desk proposes a Fill-in on it: accept it, swap a seat, or dismiss it. A fill-in counts as a game played only if it was proposed before the round clock's midpoint, and the card says which. The grading's four are shown as resting until the next round.
