Running rounds
Generate, reading the draft, swapping two players, Regenerate, Start Round, Re-draw, the round clock, and what the warnings mean.
Generate and the draft
Tap Generate Round 1 (or Generate Round N later). The desk shows a draft: each court's four and the resting list. Nothing is live yet. The draft follows the room while it's on the table: a player who checks out or asks to rest gives their seat to someone resting, and a late check-in takes a seat if fairness says they should play; the bell tells you each time.
Swapping two players
Tap one player, then another — on a court or on the resting list — to swap them, or drag one onto the other. The court's grade band is re-checked after a swap.
Regenerate, Start Round and Re-draw
Regenerate draws the same round again from scratch. Start Round locks the draft in: it goes live on the board, the round clock starts, and everyone's games and rests are counted. Re-draw on a live round undoes the lock, rolls those counts back, and gives you a fresh draft of the same round. Swaps on a live round work the same way as on a draft.
The round clock
The clock counts down from the round length; at zero it alerts you once and then counts up in Overtime until you start the next round. Players finish their game either way.
The warnings
The bell warns about the round on screen. Out of band on a court means its four span more than one grade apart; band widened for a player says who caused it and why no one within a grade of them could be seated instead. Forced rest names a player resting two rounds running because the night is short. A repeat court seats last round's four again because nothing in band could part them. Swap to fix any of them, or regenerate.
